Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing administrative and clinical support to ensure the smooth operation of our medical facility. Responsibilities:

- Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals

- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and treatments

- Conduct patient intake interviews and record medical history

- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate

- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment

- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or related healthcare role

- Solid understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and basic healthcare practices

- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems

- Proficiency in administering medications and performing basic life support techniques

- Knowledge of coding procedures for accurate documentation and billing purposes

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred

- Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant is highly desired

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion for patients
