Job Details

This role involves close coordination with project engineers to ensure accurate monthly production tie-outs, billing, and discrepancy resolutions before final client submission.

You will be instrumental in preparing and managing contractual agreements primarily based on standard RUS governmental templates and handling the bidding process through to contract closure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinate the entire AR cycle, including preparing and finalizing project bills, and submitting them to engineers and clients.
• Resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with project engineers.
• Manage and assemble contractual documents, ensuring compliance with standard templates and specifications.
• Participate in the bidding process and oversee contract administration through to closure.
• Perform cash applications and minimal collections tasks, focusing primarily on governmental revenues.
• Assist with general accounting duties and manage accounting needs for smaller LLCs within the company.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the billing and accounting operations.

Qualifications :

• Open to candidates with or without a degree; however, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required for non-degree holders.
• Strong familiarity with unit-based billing systems and a willingness to learn company-specific billing units and language.
• Proficient in using accounting software, preferably Computerease (Deltek).
• Effective communication and coordination skills to work efficiently with engineers and clients.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements in previous roles.

Additional Skills :

• Proficiency in Excel is beneficial but not required.
• Capability to handle multiple projects and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
