AMD Tax & Accounting, Inc. is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Beloit, WI
Growing Accounting firm in Beloit, Wisconsin is looking for a Senior Accountant. Must, at a minimum, have at least a 4-year accounting degree with at least 2 years of accounting experience. CPA preferred, but not required. If you are looking for your typical accounting firm, working 9-5 and weekends during the tax season, sitting in your cubicle cranking out numbers, this firm is not for you. We take care of our employees and our clients. We have a fun in a relaxed work environment with a compensation and benefits package like you have never seen! We have a base salary with a bonus and commissions structure that allows you to grow your client base within the firm. Not a salesperson? No problem: we have plenty of work for you to do without getting your own clients. Some things we do differently:
- No weekends! (Not even during tax season)
- We work 9-6 M-F during tax season
- We are not open on Fridays during the off-season! (3-day weekends!)
- We offer a commission structure for clients you bring into the firm. (Commission is every month for as long as they are a client and you are an employee!)
- We offer Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance at 75% Company 25% Employee Premium
- We have a strong matching 401K and IRA plan
- We offer paid vacation time and PTO like no one else!
- We have a casual dress code

The primary role of this position is to take over the accounting functions of all of our business clients. We have a Staff Accountant who completes most of the bookkeeping. Your job would be to make sure the accounting is correct and able to produce solid monthly financial statements for the client and management. You would also be in charge of payroll and answering state and federal letters for the clients.
- Knowledge and experience with Quickbooks online and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles is a must.
