Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a kind and outgoing personality with excellent patient care skills. The position is for part time work on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays with the possibility to work additional days if other assistants are on vacation or unable to come in.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and take vital signs
  • Assist in surgical procedures
  • Complete sterilization tasks
  • Begin note templates for the doctors
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and provide patient care

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience working as a dental assistant or recent graduate with RDA/CDA
  • Current state licensure and CPR training
  • Proficiency in conducting dental radiographs and taking vital signs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
