Job Position: Elementary Teacher
Salary Range: $54,500 - $104,931 Compensation Commensurate with Experience (Advanced Education & Certifications not included)

Job Description IHM School is seeking a collaborative educator to serve as a Full-Time Elementary Teacher for Fifth Grade for the 2024-25 school year. We seek a teacher who is committed to teaching elementary students who are inquisitive and creative while implementing daily lessons that are geared to each individual student’s learning needs. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, strong technology skills, and a keen aptitude for integrating a faith-based curriculum. The ideal candidate should be able to build a vibrant classroom community while serving the needs of a variety of student learners with love and compassion. In addition, the Elementary Teacher will create and implement hands-on and integrative lessons, assess and report student progress to families, communicate regularly with families, attend faculty meetings, and serve on various committees.
Qualifications Candidates must possess: • A Bachelor’s degree • A valid California Teaching Credential (or a reciprocal credential from another state) OR In the process of obtaining a CA Teaching Credential • Classroom management skills and experience with differentiated instruction • Teaching experience with children • Joy for the practice of teaching and willingness to be flexible • Demonstrated communication skills with parents, faculty, and students • Ability to utilize technology in a classroom environment and to integrate technology on a daily basis (i.e. Distance Learning) • Commitment to excellence and rigor
