DaVita is looking for a Dialysis Patient Care Technician to serve our patients at our Belleville, Michigan clinic.No previous healthcare experience required - Paid Dialysis Training provided!Non-seasonal, full time employment Are you looking to expand your knowledge or maybe begin your career in the healthcare realm? What does the PCT role entail?
- Rotating Schedule of 3 to 4 day work weeks, including rotating Saturday’s with Sunday off
- Starting and ending times can range from 3:30am to 7:30 pm
- Monitor, educate and provide care for up to 4 patients before, during and after dialysis treatment. Please note you will have exposure to blood and needles.
- Support your community and build relationships by caring for patients local to your town.
- High School Diploma (HSD) or GED
- Comfortable working around blood and needles, mixing acid or bicarb
- Desire to enter the healthcare field to care for other people in need
- Flexibility and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to work in a fast paced setting as part of a team while managing multiple responsibilities at a time
- Healthcare experience a plus including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
