Chestnut Health Systems seeks an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who is passionate about providing integrated care with a focus on psychiatric medication services. This full-time position is based in Belleville, IL and is eligible for a sign-on bonus. This is an FQHC position and is eligible for student loan forgiveness through certain programs.
Provide integrated prescriber services in accordance with Nurse Practitioner Collaborative Agreement State of Illinois and/or Missouri (depending on assignments) and agency policies and procedures. Reinforce evidence-based practices, including the recovery philosophy utilizing the elements of trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness and spirituality/connectedness including harm reduction. Promote positive interactions with the community and within Chestnut to sustain favorable program reputation.
RN plus Master’s degree in nursing. Licensure as an APRN in the State of Illinois. Dual Missouri licensure preferred. License in good standing with the ability to bill for evaluating and prescribing medications. Active buprenorphine waiver or willingness to obtain. Previous psychiatric and primary care prescribing experience preferred. Fully executed Collaborative Agreement with a Chestnut-approved prescriber will be required.
