Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Coach to join our team. As a Coach, you will play a vital role in mentoring and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, providing them with the necessary skills and guidance to thrive in their personal and professional lives. Responsibilities:
- Mentor and support individuals with developmental disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and abilities
- Collaborate with individuals to set goals and create action plans for personal growth
- Educate individuals on employment labor laws and rights
- Assist with recruiting and interviewing potential candidates for employment opportunities
- Develop and implement strategies to promote inclusion and diversity within the workforce
- Advocate for the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings
- Collaborate with community resources to provide additional support and services

Skills:
- Strong mentoring skills to guide individuals towards their goals
- Experience working with people on the autism spectrum or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of training and development principles
- Proficient in social work practices and techniques
- Familiarity with employment labor laws and regulations
- Ability to recruit and interview candidates effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Empathetic and patient approach when working with individuals with diverse needs
