SkySource Solutions Inc. is Hiring a Maintenance Technician/Electrician Near Belle Chasse, LA
Hours/Pay:
- Schedule will be rotating, 7 days on and 7 days off
- 7am-7pm/7pm-7am, rotating days and nights (Will be on straight days until employee becomes familiar with plant)
- Pay will start at $31/hr
- Understand and comply with all government and company health regulations
- Ability to perform repairs with minimal supervision
- Ability to find correct replacement components for fixed assets in warehouse
- Ability to lead jobs and work with junior millwrights
- Actively support Reliability through Preventive, Predictive and Proactive
- Proficient with uses, requirements, & inspections for Fall Restraint, Fall Arrest, Harnesses, Lanyards, etc. Different types of Electrical Hazards
- Construction and operation of mechanical equipment, Confined Space & Permitting, Hotwork & Permitting, Lock out tag out, and Elevated Work
- Is proficient on use of precision tools/precision-based maintenance: FLIR gun, Laser alignment tool, Belt tension tools, Sheave alignment laser tool, Stroboscope, Dial calipers, Micrometer, SKF method, Feeler gauges
- Install, align, replace, repair, adjust, inspect, and troubleshoot: Motors, Couplings, Belts, Gearboxes, Pillow-block & Flange-type Bearings, Chains Belt, Conveying systems, Bucket elevators, Hydraulic systems, Drag Conveyors
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in motor control systems maintenance and troubleshooting, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical education or certification in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field preferred
