Hilton Garden Inn Beaverton is Hiring a Hotel Maintenance Technician Near Beaverton, OR
The Hilton Garden Inn is a 152 room hotel located in Beaverton, Oregon. We are open for breakfast every morning with a restaurant and bar on property. While our property does not have a pool we have a fire pit for our guests to enjoy during their stay.
Working for the Hilton Garden Inn Portland/Beaverton we provide our staff with all the necessary tools to be successful in their perspective job role, offering additional training and support to all that need it. There are opportunities for advancement within our property and company as we have hotels across the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and ensure optimal performance
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
- Fabricate and install new equipment or components as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for accurate measurements
- Experience with high voltage and low voltage systems
- Knowledge of field service procedures for equipment installation and maintenance
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing technical support
- Ability to fabricate and modify equipment as needed
- Experience in technical sales is a plus
