Valley Catholic Elementary School is Hiring a Teacher (Beaverton, OR) Near Beaverton, OR

Applicants must:
- Have earned a bachelor’s degree (at minimum)
- Hold a current Oregon teaching certificate
- Have previous self-contained classroom teacher experience at the primary level
- Be a practicing Catholic, as this teacher will teach religion to his/her students
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with grade-level standards
- Collaborate closely with fellow team members
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with staff, students, and parents to maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
- Meet the diverse needs of individual students
- Integrate the Catholic faith into daily teaching practice
- Manage student behavior for the purpose of providing an optimal and safe learning environment
- Develop and use effective methods of evaluation that are directly related to curriculum objectives and to concepts and skills taught; consistently and effectively evaluate student progress
