Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching dance classes to students of various ages and skill levels. This is a rewarding opportunity to share your love for dance and inspire others to develop their talent. Position would be for the 2024-2025 season and substitute availability for the 2024 Summer Session.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons to students, incorporating various dance styles and techniques
- Create choreography for performances and recitals
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to coordinate class schedules and events
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in dance education and incorporate new techniques into lessons

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dance Instructor or in a related role
- Strong knowledge of different dance styles, such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, etc.
- Experience working with children of all ages, including preschoolers
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and ability to apply them in the classroom
- Familiarity with early childhood education practices is a plus
- Ability to educate and inspire students through effective teaching methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
