WDS Construction is hiring an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent.
A construction superintendent is responsible for the daily operations of a construction site from planning projects to overseeing their completion on time and on budget. Tasks include scheduling work to proceed according to a strict timeline, conducting audits and checks to ensure that work corresponds with blueprints or client requests, and monitoring safety and compliance. Maintain a written daily log of visitors, deliveries and actions performed.
Candidates should be able to read and comprehend blueprints. They should have a strong attention to detail, be organized and a team player. They should have safety as the number one priority. They should have the ability to manage jobsite and subcontractors while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Strong knowledge of the operation of technology and equipment. We are a national construction organization, so travel for this position is required.
