What Is MyBambu?

MyBambu is a financial institution delivering the first all-in-one mobile digital banking solution targeting the Hispanic unbanked and underbanked population. The mission of MyBambu is to promote financial inclusion to the unbanked and underbanked by providing an array of financial solutions delivered via mobile devices. We give an overlooked audience a convenient, safe, and cost-effective way of managing their finances. MyBambu’s objective is to promote financial literacy and access to unbanked/underbanked individuals, who have previously been left behind. Your Opportunity:

This position is a full-time, in-person position reporting to the Chief Marketing and Operations Officer. As the Motion Graphic Designer you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing engaging motion graphics content that enhances the MyBambu brand identity and communicates financial concepts in an easily digestible format.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and create compelling motion graphics for digital platforms, including videos, animations, and visual effects.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to develop innovative visual solutions for marketing campaigns, product demonstrations, and educational materials.
• Interpret creative briefs and translate concepts into visually stunning motion graphics that align with MyBambu brand guidelines and messaging.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in motion design, animation techniques, and visual storytelling.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Edit and enhance existing video content to maintain consistency and improve overall quality.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance project outcomes.

Skills and Abilities

• Content Quality: Create high-quality, engaging, and relevant content that aligns with the MyBambu brand or MyBambu goals and target audience.
• Creativity: Demonstrate a creative mindset by generating innovative ideas through editing, graphics and animation and approaches for content creation.
• Consistency: Maintain a consistent content production schedule to keep the audience engaged and build a following. Design visually appealing graphics and elements that align with the overall project theme and objectives.
• Adaptability: Stay updated on industry trends and adapt content strategies accordingly to remain relevant.
• Brand Alignment: Ensure that the content reflects the MyBambu brand's values, messaging, and overall identity. Ensure that motion graphics align with the established MyBambu guidelines and maintain consistency in MyBambu branding elements.
• Conceptualization: Develop creative concepts and ideas for video-motion graphic projects in collaboration with the rest of the marketing team
• Storyboarding: Create storyboards to outline the visual narrative and sequence of events in the animation.
• Animation: Execute smooth and engaging animations using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier, other platforms/animation tools may be implemented based on requirements. Skilled using the overall Adobe Suite Platform (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Audible)
• Typography: Apply effective typography principles to convey information clearly and aesthetically combined with motion graphics.
• Editing: Edit and integrate various elements, including graphics, text, and audio, to produce a cohesive and polished final product.
• Team Interaction: Communicate team members and stakeholders to understand their vision, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to meet their expectations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, such as video editors, sound designers, and illustrators, to ensure a unified and high-quality output.
• Technical Skills: Possess technical proficiency in animation software, video editing tools, and other relevant technologies.
• Deadline Management: Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of the finished motion graphics.
• Problem-Solving: Address technical challenges and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles during the production process.

Job Requirements:

• Bilingual – Spanish and English, preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Animation, Multimedia, or related field, preferred.
• Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer or similar role, preferably in the fintech or financial services sector.
• Proficiency in motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative motion graphics projects and animations.
• Knowledge of video editing techniques, sound design, and visual effects.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for visual storytelling.

Physical Requirements: 

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
