Our busy cardiology practice is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to answer phones, schedule appointments and perform administrative work. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience handling a high volume of administrative work, familiarity with medical terminology and a professional attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and direct them to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Answer telephones, greet visitors, and schedule patient appointments.
- Observe patients' reactions to medication and report unusual side effects to physicians.
- Answer physicians' phones, take messages, and relay them to the appropriate staff.
- Record and file patient test results.
- Create, update, and maintain patient charts and files.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
