Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Cleaner to join our team. As a General Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our clients’ clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and polishing surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors, and replenish necessary supplies.
- Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and countertops, to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies inventory, promptly reporting any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate channels for timely resolution.
- Respond to client requests and address any concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and provide assistance when needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and confidentiality.
- Proven experience as a cleaner or in a similar role is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with various cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and best practices for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members in a professional manner.
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
