Automotive Sales Representative Job Responsibilities:

*Approaches, greets, and offers assistance to any customer who enters the dealership showroom. Developes buyers by maintaining rapport with current and previous customers.

*Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.

*Understands the features and benefits of the products offered and conveying this information to every customer.

*Offers test drives to every customer

*Follows up with every customer including showroom, internet and phone customers on a timely basis.

*Attends product and sales training sessions as requested by management.

*Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.

*Delivers vehicle to customer, ensuring that the customer understands all the features and service requirements of the vehicle.

*Maintains an owner follow system that encourages repeat and referal business and contributes to customer satisfaction.

*Closes sales by overcoming objections, asking for sales, negotiating price, completing sale agreements, explaining warranties and finance options.

*Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Automobile Salesperson Skills and Qualifications:

*Your primary responsibility is selling, but you may might also have several other important duties. Meeting sales goals, Motivation for sales, Selling customer needs, Financial skills, Telephone skills.

*Must be excellent at communicating information to customers

*Professional appearence and demeanor

*Positve attitude.

*Good cusomer satisfaction and follow up skills
