Job Overview

We are looking for a Geotechnician to assist with our latest project. This is a full-time, project-based position for approximately six months, requiring on-site work in the Battle Mountain area. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling geological samples and core cutting, ensuring precision and accuracy in sample preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut geological core samples with precision and care, adhering to project specifications.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and documentation of core samples.
• Maintain and operate core cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist geologists with sample collection and processing in the field.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all samples and work performed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Geological Core Cutter or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with geological sample processing and handling.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to operate and maintain core cutting machinery.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must reside in Nevada or be willing to relocate for the duration of the project.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of geological concepts is a plus.
• Lives in Nevada.
• Ability to work in the US without work visa sponsorship.
