- Observe all casino operations via surveillance cameras.
- Responsible for the mechanical and electrical operations of the department while maintaining regulatory compliance of the surveillance system.
- Maintain, Install, Repair, and Trouble shoot problems of all surveillance equipment.
- Train departmental employees in the operation, use and maintenance of surveillance equipment.
- Assist with decisions of camera placement and position to obtain optimum vantage points.
- Review gaming video in cases of player/dealer disputes.
- Complete daily activity reports; note any pertinent facts (e.g. large cash outs, fills, credits, etc.) and/or incidents.
- Research, review, and recommend new coverage options when necessary.
- Keeps informed of changes in technology related to surveillance equipment.
- Answer the telephone and log information.
- Comply with all Internal Controls, Company, departmental and safety policies, producers and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics.
- Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Must qualify for and maintain a Louisiana Riverboat Gaming Permit.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
