We are currently seeking a Quality Manager - Operations to join our team in Batesville, IN.
Your Role At BatesvilleAs a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in planning, coordinating, and directing quality assurance programs designed to ensure continuous improvement of products and systems for the operations team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will deal directly with customer concerns and direct problem-solving activities to address these concerns. A hands-on approach and solid knowledge of quality systems and problem-solving tools will be required to be successful in this position.

What You’ll Do
  • Drives continuous improvement of products and services.
  • Investigates and assures corrective actions are identified and implemented.
  • Assists in developing quality plans and changes to existing products to improve quality to customer.
  • Develops and implements standards to assure repeatable, reliable processes in our operations.
  • Focuses on customer satisfaction.
  • Serves as Customer Liaison between the plant and our customers. Customer interface onsite and off to investigate and correct customer issues.
  • Manages engineering support staff to analyze Quality trends to determine the root cause and necessary countermeasures.
  • Responsible for inspection methods, analysis, testing and compliance with engineering specifications.
  • Analyzes and reports quality issues, trends, and countermeasures to upper management through policy deployment.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Lean or Six Sigma training and/or certification is strongly preferred
  • CQE is a plus
