DELI MANAGERS ensure effective and profitable operations of the deli department through sales maximization and employee growth. Deli Managers ensure customers receive polite, friendly service; are responsible for scheduling of the department; ensure department is compliant with company standards and all state and federal laws; knowledge of product quality, origin, and preparation; ensure proper departmental sanitation and safe food handling practices; train and develop department Team Members; and implement and maintain an in-store culture that ensures growth.
The Deli Manager reports directly to the Assistant Store Manager Fresh and Store Manager.
