ResponsibilitiesAs a Stonerise Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessments, treatments, and clinical recommendations of patients with movement dysfunction. Some of your primary responsibilities include:
- Providing and conducting evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, education, and clinical recommendations.
- Assisting physicians in assessing the patient’s level of functioning.
- Instructing and advising patients, families, and other health team personnel in their roles in physical therapy.
- Supervising and teaching the Physical Therapy Assistant(s). Communicating plan of care changes to the aides and other appropriate staff as necessary.
- Performing complete assessments of the patients, including screening for movement dysfunction from disorders and developing a plan of care.
- Providing clinical recommendations based on patient needs. Teaching, supervising, and counseling the patient, family, and caregiver regarding procedures and other needs as appropriate.

Education, Licensure & Certification Requirements
- Successful completion of a Physical Therapy program at an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
- Active Physical Therapy license in WV.
- One (1) year of physical therapy experience preferred.
