The Department desires individuals that possess a minimum of Six (10 ) years of experience with

The following skillsets are required, at a minimum, to support The Department.
Engineering Cisco Routers and Switches, including design and implementation in a large-scale environment of 10,000 users or more.
Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
Checkpoint Firewall design and implementation in a large-scale environment of 10,000 users or more
TCP/IP design and implementation in a large-scale environment of 10,000 users or more
Experience in internet protocol (IPv4/6), TCP/UDP, Dynamic Routing Protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS), switching Protocol (VLAN, STP, RSTP, FHRP (HSRP & VRRP),
Local Area Network (LAN), Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), Firewalls, (Network Security), IPsec, DMVPN, L2/L3 VPN network coverage and capacity enhancement.
Deploy, Configure and maintenance AP’s and WLC using 802.11a/b/g/n/
Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
University degree in Computer Science or a related subject
