Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in cutting-edge research utilizing AI and machine learning techniques to analyze and interpret complex transportation and built environment data.
- Collect, wrangle, and manage travel behavior and built environment data from various sources, including possibly visual data sources
- Develop innovative tools and strategies to aid in the planning and development of equitable transit-oriented communities.
- Conceptualize new research projects that meet the goals of CETOC while leveraging AI research methods.
- Duties may include community engagement and grant administration.
The position has the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding availability. The role offers a competitive salary based on federal standards, health insurance, and opportunities for professional and personal development.

Proven experience in AI and machine learning, particularly in the context of transportation systems and the built environment. Familiarity with big data analysis and computer vision techniques is highly desirable. Previous record of publications as first author also desirable.
