Ainsley Search Group is hiring a Manufacturing Manager with solid experience in driving CI in manufacturing, maintenance and process reliability optimization to join a Global Manufacturer based in Berks County. This Manufacturing Manager will report to Operational Director, lead the maintenance and manufacturing engineering team to plan PM, develop and design manufacturing process, drives reliability, safety, improve process and system reliability, and lead major capex projects to ensure the safety, efficiency and drives continuous improvement for the metal fabrication and assembly process. This is a full-time opportunity with lucrative compensation, benefit, relocation assistance and growth, the company would like to develop the right individual to become the Plant Manager or Plant Engineering Manager as part of succession planning.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the manufacturing engineering and maintenance teams to manage, plan and improve site automation, maintenance, and reliability program in development of asset maintenance, reliability and compliance strategies and goals.
• Develop and design manufacturing processes based off engineered projects and product specifications, drives CI and cost saving to further improve efficiency in manufacturing processes across fabrication, welding, assembly, etc.
• Provide expertise in analysis of equipment and work process performance data in support of developing continual improvement plans as it relates to improving efficiency of the maintenance organization, improved asset reliability, safety, and optimization of plant costs.
• Manage, plan and coordinate work orders regarding PM, engineering projects, and manage the spare part department for inventory optimization and proper parts requisitions.
• Develop and conduct training in maintenance processes and procedures and provides coaching to maintenance team in use of maintenance programs.
• Establish and implement tools that support Maintenance performance tracking, uptime, downtime, spare parts management, Outsourced maintenance Costs through KPI.
• Identify, locate and help manage key resources necessary to support achievement of organizational or plant projects / goals.
• Set-up and run improvement programs targeting key identified areas.
• Develop key relations with Plant Leadership and Maintenance personnel, provide hands-on leadership, guidance as needed.
• Provide support to input into capital projects, replacement projects and closely cooperate with process engineering supporting on mechanical integrity (MI) program development.
• Define and execute strategies for systematic predictive / preventive maintenance, support maintenance planning, scheduling to optimize resource and manpower.
• Identify and manage external resources supporting CM activities at the sites

Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering or related fields
• years of tenure as a Manufacturing Manager, Engineering Manager, within manufacturing industry, exposure to fabrication, assembly, welding processes preferred.
• knowledge in process safety and reliability
• leadership skill and has the aspiration to become Manager or Plant Engineering Manager for succession planning.
• with SPC, 5S, Six Sigma, CI, RCA and CAPA.
• in Microsoft Suit, MINITAB, AutoCAD.
