Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our housekeeping operations. The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, managing a team of housekeeping staff, and implementing efficient cleaning procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custodial and floor care, as well as experience in hospitality or hotel settings.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleaning protocols and identify areas for improvement

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks and address any specific cleaning needs or requests

- Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring an adequate supply is maintained at all times

- Handle guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services and take appropriate action to resolve issues promptly

- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address any repairs or maintenance needs within the facility

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management

Requirements:

- Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting

- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and industrial cleaning methods

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient computer skills for managing schedules, inventory, and reporting

Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
