Overview :
As a Mechanic / Production Technician you will maintain and repair machinery and equipment. Conduct electrical testing, disassemble / reassemble machines, perform machining and welding tasks.
Requires electrical skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read technical information.
Job Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive electrical testing and verification of equipment functionality
- Disassemble and reassemble machines for electrical maintenance and repairs
- Service, repair, and maintain a wide range of shop tools and equipment
- Perform machining and welding tasks with precision and expertise while adhering to safety standards
- Recondition and refurbish process, plastics, and centrifugal equipment
- Construct crates and skids as required, ensuring proper packaging and protection
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3-4 years of general shop experience
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, forklifts, cranes, and various tools
- Ability to read and comprehend technical information and follow instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a general maintenance background
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain upon completion of probationary period)
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Minimum lifting requirement of 75 lbs.
