ABOUT THE POSITION:

Stratus Building Solutions is seeking an Operations Manager / Franchise Business Consultant to join our team and help us execute our mission of empowering our Unit Franchise Owners to build successful businesses that make a positive impact in their communities.
  • As the Operations Manager, you will work closely with our Unit Franchise Owners to ensure top-notch client satisfaction in the delivery of routine janitorial services.
  • You will play a critical role in equipping our Franchise Owners with the best training, tools, and support to help them retain clients and achieve success.

  • This is a full-time salaried position primarily working days, and occasionally nights and weekends.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Retain clients by executing the Stratus Operating System with Unit Franchise Owners.
  • Perform routine inspections and analyze service concerns to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Propose solutions for special service needs such as hard floor care, pressure washing, window cleaning, and carpet care.
  • Coordinate and ensure the success of starting service for new customers.
  • Coordinate and ensure successful account transfers between Unit Franchise Owners.
  • Serve as a mentor to individual franchise owners to help them build necessary skill sets.
  • Coordinate field training and development opportunities for Unit Franchise Owners.
  • Quote special services to help protect customers' facilities.
SKILLS NEEDED:
  • Bilingual: Fluent in English & Spanish is preferred but not a must. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve a wide range of cleaning issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills with customers, Unit FOs, and the office team on a daily basis.
  • Ability to conduct engaging and informative training classes.
  • Knowledge of various floor care procedures including carpet cleaning, stripping and waxing, and tile and grout cleaning is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when needed for account starts and field training.
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written) to build strong professional relationships with clients and franchise owners.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts/issues and use them as opportunities for the growth of our Unit FOs.
