New Jersey Institute for Disabilities is Hiring a Direct Support Professional - RT Near Barnegat, NJ
We are currently hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist residents with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living in a residential setting.
Job Responsibilities Of a Direct Support Professional
- Assist and/or supervises in activities of daily living skills
- Administer or assist with prescribed medication
- Light housekeeping
- Assist with transportation
- Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives
- Data entry using Therap (EHR)
- Assist residents in the pursuit of recreational, social and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans
- HS diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license in good standing and must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance
- Strong communication skills
Position DetailsLocation: Barnegat County: Ocean
Hours Per Work Week: 20 Weekly Work Schedule: Sat. - Sun. 10am - 8pm
Other shifts available at this location.
NJID has full time, part time, and per diem opportunities in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Somerset Counties.Benefits
