Sealed Air is Hiring an Inventory Control Clerk Near Ayer, MA
Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform all work in a safe manner following all safety policies, processes, and procedures
- Work closely with manufacturing, customer service, and the materials manager to resolve all issues
- Create purchase order requisitions and obtain approvals
- Complete transactions in SAP and ERP
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers, staff, and management
- Coordinate inbound products
- Coordinate between operations, customer service, external and suppliers
- Participates in team projects for continuous improvement, 5s organization, and quality.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 4-5 years’ experience in material handling
- 3 years’ experience in a variety of computer-based systems and programs including Microsoft Office and Outlook, ERP (Visual a plus), and SAP required
- Demonstrated written and verbal skills
- Must have a passion to service our customers
- Understanding and experienced in Cycle Counting
- Problem solving skills with the ability to think quickly and effectively resolve issues
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Highly organized and ability to multi-task in a busy setting.
- Understanding of procedures and processes used to issue and transfer material
- Understanding of blueprints and bills of materials
- Flexibility to work required hours to complete tasks and special projects

Job Description
- Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products- Controls the commercial impact of the complete range of activities from receiving, locating and dispatching, sourcing, purchasing and optimizing inventory levels- Administers an effective system that meets the organization's inventory control needs through efficient transportation of raw materials, component parts and/or finished goods
