About Us:

Avon Health Center, family owned since 1974, provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice and respite care. We are a 120 bed facility, 90 of which are Long Term and 30 Short Term.

$17.00/hour

As dietary aide, you will help to prepare and serve food in a family-owned, friendly nursing home setting. You will report to the Director of Dining Services. This is a FULL TIME position and includes every other weekend and some holidays. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, generous PTO, 8 Paid Holidays and more! 

$17.00/hour plus weekend differential

• Help prepare food and meals

• Wash/clean dishes and washroom duties

• Deliver food to facility residents

• Assist with special catering events at facility

• Assist in kitchen as needed

Additional Qualifications:

• Work independently and as a team player

• Communicate well 

• Deal tactfully with residents, family members, and staff

• May be required to stand for long periods of time

• May have to lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies without restrictions

• Must be able to work every other weekend and some holidays as needed by department
• Must be reliable

EXPERIENCE:

Experience preferred but will train the right candidate!
