Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) will play a critical role in our plastic surgery clinic, providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. The RN will assist in pre-operative and post-operative care, support patients through their surgical journey, and collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to patients.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for surgery, including administering medications and performing assessments.
• Monitor and document patient vitals, condition, and progress throughout the surgical process.
• Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and post-operative care.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures as needed, ensuring a sterile and safe environment.
• Manage patient flow and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and removal of sutures/staples.
• Respond to patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in plastic surgery nursing.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State].
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in plastic surgery, surgical, or critical care settings.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
• Excellent clinical and assessment skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
