Please find a brief description of the Material Handling / Forklift Operator role below :

ProAmpac is seeking a LOCAL Driver with a Class A CDL License and Forklift operator experience. This position requires the employee to drive between plants to pick up raw materials or deliver finished products in a timely manner with a safety mindset.

The right candidate must follow instructions and safety procedures, by planning and prioritizing the order in which to pick up and deliver materials, and by using judgement in combination with remembering / recalling information to determine the most appropriate and / or timesaving actions to take.

They will also be responsible for general shipping and / or receiving duties, organizing and inventory management.

Duties include :

• Load and unload cargo and detect if correct and undamaged.
• Document incoming and outgoing material.
• Sort items to place in proper location in a timely manner.
• Speak with others to ensure work done appropriately.
• Check shipping and receiving papers to detect correctness of invoices by interpreting and following instructions.
• Troubleshoot problems to ensure that truck problems are diagnosed, and appropriate repairs made.
• Assist in the shipping department using forklifts and other equipment.

Wage Range : $28-$32 DOE $1.50 night shift differential.
