- Maintain facility grounds, which includes cleaning the yard, trimming shrubbery, raking, planting, and weeding. Cleans parking lots and driveways.
- Removes snow from sidewalks and driveways and spreads sand, salt or ashes to prevent slipping, requiring additional hours to be worked before/after regular shift
- Set up and clean up for outdoor and indoor athletic activities.
- Use approved methods and materials in cleaning and caring for assigned facility
- Repairs partitions, doors, windows, floor, furniture, and building framework, as assigned.
- Assists with plumbing repair, replacement and assembly, as assigned.
- Installs floor tile, baseboard, wall covering, and ceiling tiles, as assigned.
- Complete tasks of all service requests, maintenance, and preventive equipment inspections.
- Establish and monitor preventive maintenance procedures for assigned facility.
- Researches and resolves problems related to facilities operational and maintenance issues.
- General cleaning of furniture, windows, window sills, and walls. Empty trash receptacles.
- Respond to scheduled and/or unscheduled Emergency events.
- Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
- Perform complete tasks of all service requests, maintenance, and preventive equipment inspections
- Follow all safety standards as outlined in company policy and OSHA regulations.
- Additional duties as assigned or needed.
- 6 months in the maintenance field focused on property management.
- Key Maintenance experience required: Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Drywall, Painting, Small Appliance Repair, Doors, Locks, Keys, and Grounds.
- GED/High School Diploma
- Valid driver’s license (no restrictions)
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a DMV check (have a clean driving record) to be approved to drive company vehicles
- Requires the ability to read and follow label instructions on cleaning supplies
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a positive attitude which supports team performance and productivity.
- Must have team aptitude and approach.
