We are a family-owned office seeking an outgoing, passionate, detail-oriented Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in assisting the dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Seat patients and assist the dentist with efficiently and effectively treating patients.
• Record patient medical history.
• Communicate with patients in a professional manner and help alleviate patient anxiety.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix.
• Provide post-operative instructions to patients.
• Take X-rays and intraoral photographs.
• Perform basic dental laboratory procedures.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
• Clean and disinfect the operatories.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EFDA certification is preferred.
• X-ray Certification is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour.
