Job Description:

• Conduct eye exams: Perform comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and detect eye diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses: Determine the appropriate prescription for glasses or contact lenses.
• Treat eye conditions: Diagnose and manage various eye conditions, such as dry eyes or infections.
• Advise on eye health: Educate patients on proper eye care practices and recommend treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals: Work with opticians, ophthalmologists, and primary care doctors.
• Stay updated on industry trends: Attend trainings and conferences to keep abreast of advancements in eye care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in optometry or a related field such as biology, chemistry, or pre-optometry studies.
• Completion of a Doctor of Optometry (OD) program from an accredited institution.
• Participate in clinical rotations/internships to gain hands-on experience.
• Continuous education to stay updated on new advancements and technologies in the field.
