What’s the position?

Our Risk Analyst will be an integral part of our Operations Risk team. The Risk
Analyst will primarily provide timely review of complex account investigations,
support with Regulator and Compliance requests/audits, and provide
comprehensively documented conclusions in support of actions taken in accordance
with the company’s policies and procedures.
 
In addition, you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing internal investigation referral forms to conduct a comprehensive analysis of player transactional activity. Including but not limited to, reviewing customer profiles, prior reviews, past investigations, account documentation, and online research.
• Prepare internal unusual incident reports and if necessary Suspicious Activity
  Reports.
• Review and perform Enhanced Due Diligence, adverse media searches, and
  review affordability documentation including but not limited to the source of
  income and source of wealth documentation; when applicable.
• Perform OFAC clearing for potential matches identified.
• Support in W2G Tax research and reporting to our property partners.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory changes and emerging risks and trends to
  pivot rapidly.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an individual who has:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• SAR Writing experience
• CDD/KYC/CIP Experience
• The role is best suited for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a passion for the AML/BSA, sports, and casinogaming industries.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s Degree or at least 4 years of AML/BSA experience in the Banking or Casino Industry
• Good investigation skills, sound judgement and the ability to review and interpret data and activity in order to make accurate decisions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and understanding of the rules and regulations of the gaming industry
• The ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Previous experience in customer verification, KYC or affordability/due diligence would be preferred but not essential
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
