About The RoleThe Company is seeking a General Manager/COO with a strong, process-driven approach and significant leadership experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations of the club, with a focus on promoting a positive culture, team development, and financial management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest levels of member satisfaction and retention, particularly during the exciting period of preparing for and leading the opening of a new clubhouse. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality management, preferably with a bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of management experience in a similar, private, member-owned club environment. Key attributes for the General Manager/COO include visionary leadership, strategic management, and a proven track record in operational processes. The role requires superior communication skills, a strong understanding of dining and F&B experiences, and the ability to work collaboratively with the board to set strategic direction. The candidate should be adept at financial management, with experience in budgeting and a focus on enhancing member services. A proactive, member-focused leadership style is essential, as is the ability to mentor and develop staff. The GM/COO will also be expected to extend the club's seasonal operations and enhance its presence through digital and social media communication. Professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to the club's culture and heritage are integral to this position.
