Job Description:
BVM is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to be responsible for the management and development of all special partnerships and volunteer efforts. This role will implement and manage efficient systems that will streamline volunteer efforts and work to maintain special partnerships using various engagement tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting, training, placing, and retaining volunteers and special partnerships across multiple programs, organizational initiatives, and events. The Volunteer Coordinator will lead partners and volunteers in supporting community-wide outreach. Must live in Atlanta, GA.

Travel Requirements: Ability and willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
This position requires a one day in office workday per week. Atlanta based.
Salary & benefits: $58,000- $60,000 unlimited PTO, medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, and a $25,000 life insurance benefit.
This position also supports BVM Capacity Building Institute (BVM), an affiliated 501(c)(3) organization. While motivated by the same core values – power building, equity and justice – BVM and BVMF operate independently of one another, and each organization has its own board of directors.
