Job Summary:
ACTION MANUFACTURING COMPANY was established in 1946 as a small machine shop and has now grown into a major manufacturer of precision ordnance products.
Operations at the Atglen, PA facility include machining, manual assembly of the mechanisms within the devices, manual assembly of the complete fuze, and some automated assembly operations where possible.
The right candidate will be able to calmly and accurately follow directions and has a commitment to completing their work within the time period expected. We're looking for someone who is driven to succeed, has a passion for efficient and quality work, and can perform the following tasks:
Responsibilities:
· Repetitive assembly of small components, small energetic components when assigned to loading operation, small sub-assemblies and/or precision assemblies, involving close tolerances and critical operating requirements.
· Required to operate light assembly tools, such as power screwdriver, bench or small model punch presses, air and/or hydraulic presses, impact hammer and hand tools.
· Required to use measuring instruments, such as gauges, test equipment and inspection devices.
· These repetitive operations may be complex in nature and may be executed on high volume production line.
· Must be able to understand and perform job functions as stated in the job description.
· Normal range of motion and good manual dexterity are necessary for this job.
· Accuracy in performing job is required. Errors in assembly may cause defective products and break down of equipment.
Job Requirement:

· Prior training or experience in assembly work desired, but not required.
· Accuracy in job performance is required.
Education Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent desired, but not necessary.
