JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Remodeler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of remodeling and maintenance tasks, including updating drywall and painting, assisting with tile and flooring installation, and performing trim carpentry and exterior siding tasks. You will also conduct basic electrical and plumbing maintenance, cut and install insulation, fit tile or linoleum, and apply adhesives to flooring and walls in preparation for tile. Additional responsibilities include cutting timber and lumber to specified dimensions, installing toilets, trim, and cabinets, and assisting with slabs and elevated structures. You will ensure all projects are completed on time, troubleshoot and resolve issues appropriately, and escalate issues when necessary. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and have a strong problem-solving ability, we would love to have you on our team.
EDUCATIONAL AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma

• 5 years of experience in residential maintenance and repair

• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools

• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical functions

• Positive attitude and strong communication skills

• Well-organized with excellent problem-solving abilities

• Attention to detail

• Contractor or journeyman license is a plus

• Must pass pre-employment testing and background checks

• Clean driving record required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities and duties of the Remodeler include, but are not limited to, the following items:

• Update drywall and paint as needed

• Assist with tile or flooring installation

• Perform trim carpentry and exterior siding tasks

• Conduct basic electrical and plumbing maintenance

• Cut and install insulation

• Cut and fit tile or linoleum

• Apply adhesives to flooring/walls in preparation for tile

• Cut timber and lumber to specified dimensions

• Install toilets, trim, and cabinets

• Assist with slabs and elevated structures

• Ensure all projects are completed on time

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues appropriately

• Escalate issues when necessary
