General Summary Perform a variety of patient care services for Occupational Health clients, under the direction of and in conjunction with the Director, Nurse Practitioner, and/or Medical Director.
Minimum Qualifications Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
•Detail-oriented and analytical, strong organizational and planning skills
•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all educational and socioeconomic levels
•Proficient computer skills, including ability to learn new systems/software
•Understanding of medical terminology, with special emphasis on Occupational Health
Required Length/Type of Experience
•A minimum of three years of experience, preferably in an outpatient setting.
Required Education/Licensure/Certification
•Certification from a Medical Assistant program
•Maintain required certifications, such as chain of custody for urine drug screen, spirometry, audiometric testing
Required Physical and Environmental Demands
•Ability to lift 20 pounds
•Must be flexible and adaptable to various environments
•Able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
