Ashtabula County ESC is Hiring an INTERVENTION SPECIALIST (Teacher of Developmentally Disabled) Near Ashtabula, OH

Reports to: Special Education Supervisor, Principal


Contract Length:
184 Days


Compensation:
As per ACESC Salary Schedule


Required Qualifications:

  • Teaching certification as an Intervention Specialist K-12
  • Successful BCII/FBI background checks
  • Ability to develop and implement Individual Education Plans
  • Ability to develop and implement Behavior Support Plans
  • Proficient technology skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in teaching special education students
  • Project and inquiry-based instruction and pedagogy

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, talk, hear, push, lift, bend and twist at the neck more than the average person. Employee may need to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch and reach above the head.
