Job Summary:

Our company is looking for a Project Manager for our Septic/Underground division. This position would also involve managing small-scale projects, such as equipment replacements or remodels during the off season. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing 2-4 field employees, while seeing the projects through, beginning to end. Communicating with customers, working together with the field employees, and collaborating with the other departments.

Duties:

- Review project plans, requirements, and specifications to determine the scope of work.

- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor work

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates

- Managing/taking ownership of the project throughout the entire process.

- Communicating with customers and vendors via email, phone calls, etc.

- Ordering job-specific material.

- Jobsite visits.

- Develop project schedules and timelines based on estimated costs

- Project closeout – returns, job costing, final invoice review.

- Small scale design work for equipment replacements or remodels.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Project Estimator or similar role in the construction industry is preferred.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents

- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices

- Excellent organizational and management skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
