Discovery Montessori School in south Asheville is hiring a Teacher Assistant for the 3-6 year old classrooms. Training offered with opportunity to advance to a lead teacher. We are a preschool providing top quality child care services to families in south Asheville and surrounding areas. We offer an above average compensation along with a supportive and professional working environment. We are an EOE.
Employment Requirements:
*NC Early Childhood Credential with additional semester credit hours in early childhood education (preferred)
*Associates Degree or higher in Early Child Care Education or related field (preferred)
*Current criminal background clearance letter
*First Aid/CPR
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
