- Install and Build database structures
- Backup & Recovery
- Apply patches and upgrade database versions
- Daily maintenance including monitoring and database maintenance tasks
- Query and performance tuning
- Part of On-Call rotation
- Develop and maintain documentation
- Description Type: Qualifications
- Database administrator with over 8-10 years of experience in database administration of high availability, and critical production systems
- Provide 24x7 production support, hands-experience in the creation and maintenance of Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Cassandra database instances, database design, database performance monitoring, and tuning
- Working experience in Oracle 19c, database backup, and recovery is also required.
- Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard experience required
- Working experience with SQL Server 2014, 2016, or 2019
- Oracle certification pis referred.
- Candidate must be a good team playerwith a strong team and self-motivation,have and excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
