Alpine Recovery Services is offering a $1,000 hiring bonus for a full-time Substance Use Disorder Professional (part-time will be considered).
Hiring Bonus Qualifications: SUDP must have minimum of 6 months experience as SUDP and meet all job qualifications. $500 to be paid at the end of first month of employment and $500 to be paid upon successful completion of 90-day Introductory Period.
We are seeking a qualified, caring, and passionate Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP).
Alpine Recovery Services has been providing high-quality substance abuse counseling and therapy to patients in Snohomish, Skagit, Island, and King Counties since 1992. We are a state- licensed substance use disorder treatment facility and offer a range of addiction treatment programs including IOP and outpatient treatment. We are expanding services in the near future.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The position involves case management, processing groups, alcohol and drug assessments, and electronic record keeping. Primary caseload will be evening IOP. Will include evening hours and some Fridays.
Hours: Full-time - 40 hours per week. May consider part-time candidates.
Starting Salary/Hourly Rate: Starting at $25.00/hr. DOE.
RESPONSIBILITIES (depending on experience):
Be an agent for providing services to patients, whether on a one-to-one or on a group basis. Services are given to individuals with substance use disorder related problems and to their families. Primary caseload will be evening IOP.
Provides up to 120 hours per month of direct counseling and case management services to patients; consisting of individual, group, family and educational services; including assessment, counseling, and aftercare services. Direct counseling shall be reduced in accordance with current WAC.
Leads discussions and presents lectures and films for group sessions. Maintains professional standards and follows the agency policies, and federal, state, and local regulations. Follows up on treatment programs designed for and undertaken by each patient. Completes on time all of the required forms for each patient. Maintains accurate and current records on each patient in accordance with a problem-oriented records system and according to the agency's procedure for patient records. Prepares current patient progress reports and completion notices and provides them to the courts, probation departments, and referral sources as appropriate. Performs other related tasks as assigned.
Access to and protection of PHI:
Responsible for upholding a culture of privacy and security in highly confidential work environment (HIPPA covered entity service area).
Complies with all Alpine policies and procedures that involve access to and safeguarding of client Protected Health Information (all forms).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR SUDP:
Substance Use Disorder Professional Certification with the WA State Department of Health. Must have at least six months experience as a SUDP.
Proficient computer skills.

PREFERRED:
Associate’s (required), bachelor’s or master’s level degree preferred in Social Services, Counseling or related field.
