Soliant is Hiring a Paraprofessional Near Arlington, MA
Minimum 1 years paraprofessional or special education experience required.
Soliant, in collaboration with our esteemed partner districts in the Arlington, MA area, is currently seeking dedicated Paraprofessionals to join our team.
As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of students, contributing to their overall success and well-being.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Completion of a paraprofessional training program or equivalent experience (if applicable)
- At least one year of recent experience in a related field (education, childcare, etc.)
- Ability to pass a background check and any additional screenings required by the school district
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with students
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to implement educational plans and accommodations for students with diverse needs
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment by promoting student engagement and participation
- Assist with classroom management, behavior reinforcement, and crisis intervention strategies as needed
- Support students with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs), ensuring their access to educational resources and accommodations
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards in all interactions with students, families, and staff
