Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role- The role will play a critical role in establishing rigor, discipline, and structure for the Employee Experience Portfolio of projects. In addition, the Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for collaborating and coordinating with Engineering leaders to successfully deliver the book of work. Meet Our Team- We are the PMO organization within Technology that is responsible for delivering initiatives and programs to support the business. You will be responsible for working with the PMO leaders to establish standards and operating rhythm for teams to deliver on the most impactful programs and initiatives for the organization. We are looking for an individual contributor who can drive standardization and consistency across the organization. Job Description: Your way to impact- This role will partner with the PMO and Engineering Leaders to drive successful program execution for the Employee Experience portfolio and leverage industry best practices to drive standardization across technology organization Responsibilities & day to day- Proactive management of programs that are assigned to drive successful outcomes Act as a steward for driving consistency and standardization in managing/delivering programs Partner with Engineering teams to manage risks/issues and mitigation plans Coordinate planning and delivery efforts across various technology, vendor and Infrastructure teams Organize and lead release planning activities resulting in the creation of project or program roadmaps. Lead other technical engineers to ensure work is properly allocated, planned, and executed for multiple projects Manage major collective activities, issues, and risks across teams in support of the program or project Ensure measurable KPIs are developed for projects, and that they align to the overall KPIs for the technology space. Manage stakeholder communication regarding Release Plans and Release deliveries. Ensure regular, active communication with adjacent project and external stakeholders, including international regions. Identify project impediments and address including proper escalation to individuals/groups as needed Contributes to and demonstrates a solid understanding of program vision and roadmap Maintain awareness of cross product/program synergies and actively communicate opportunities to simplify work across teams. Job Requirements Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience. Some barriers to entry exist at this level, requiring department review. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 8-10 years of relevant professional experience - Project management experience organizing multiple teams performing infrastructure/software/product development is a “must have” Successful track record of managing complex development projects to deliver technical solutions Proven ability to develop effective, matrixed, cross-organization relationships, collaborating and communicating across business and technology stakeholders and multiple geographies Strong technical acumen; experience in End User Services (End User Computing, Mobility, End User Support, Infrastructure, Software Upgrades) Good knowledge of project management process, project management software tools, templates and management techniques Good leadership skills; self-motivated and a self-starter with a “Can do” attitude Team player, energetic personality, quality minded, focused, committed, able to work independently in a fast paced, changing environment High degree of professional confidence and credibility with effective presence , strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate technical concepts and plans at all levels Strong negotiation skills in all mediums and throughout all levels of the organization.
