General Job Description:

The Sales Consultant is the point of contact for wedding clients to discuss New Pace and our package offerings. They identify and assess the customer needs to provide them with the right products or services. They manage the lead process from start to finish with couples, providing excellent customer service to answer questions, establish rapport, provide quotes, and follow up with any incoming leads or completed quotes.

The Sales Consultant also strategizes around new revenue and partnership opportunities while managing relationships with current partners such as vendors and venue contacts. They will assist with the development of sales strategies as well as monitor market trends and competitor activities.

The Sales Consultant has experience with wedding and/or event planning sales. They have intimate knowledge of the wedding photography & videography industry as well as strong interpersonal techniques, communication skills and contract negotiation.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Management of the client experience from inquiry to booking which includes but is not limited to the use of CRM software, direct calls, meetings, and emails with clients, proposal follow-ups, presentations, and sales processing.
• Contract negotiations and management
• Email inbox maintenance
• Assist in fostering good relationships with clients, wedding venues & vendors
• Communication with the studio team, various departments, clients, vendors, venues, etc.
• Maintaining culture and values with our client base
• Research on current trends in the wedding industry related to videography and photography
• Consulting with the production team
• Supporting growth and development into new geographical areas and/or venue partnerships
• Assist Studio Director in building strategies to meet sales targets to surpass revenue goals
• Assist in the training and management of future sales consultants
• Collaborate on promotions & package strategies
• Collaborate on the growth of the sales team, marketing, new markets etc.
• Assist in perfecting lead process, email templates, etc

Qualifications for the Job:

• Experienced in wedding event, photography and/or videography sales preferred
• Experience using project management software
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organizational & multitasking skills
• Positive and friendly attitude

Core Competencies:

The Sales Consultant is independent, self-motivated, and an excellent communicator. They can multitask in a fast-paced environment and are quick on their feet to negotiate during sales calls. They have an eye for detail when creating contracts. The Sales Consultant gets along with others and is a team player. They are confident when discussing company products & services and with making client connections.

Compensation:

Aligns closely with experience

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
